changing names

ok so, i already know how to change my character's name, the name of my farm and my favorite thing, but i tried to do the same thing with the baby's name and now the farm isn't loading, and the game closes itself, i tried to rename it back but the game is still closing itself

how do i change the baby's name without breaking the game?

Do you have a backup of your save file from before you attempted the save editing? If so, I would start by reverting to that and confirming that it works. If not, you may need to revert to the previous day backup file (in case you don't know how: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves#Undo_the_last_save ).

I'm not sure what might have gone wrong, as I've never tried editing a child's name, though I can't imagine why changing it back still resulted in the game crashing unless you also changed something else by mistake. According to this post, there are two places it appears in the save file that need to be changed, so that may have something to do with it if you only changed one of them.
