Collect frog egg incorrect color

When collecting multiple frog eggs, the item will stack under the color of the first frog egg. This happens when reforging on the anvil to get the desired color. Several frog eggs will stack under the color of the first frog egg. The player has to check in their item bar to see the actual color. This bug occurs every time. I would collect 2 "prismatic frog eggs" to check my inventory to see one prismatic and one of another color, or I would reforge the frog eggs, constantly collecting multiple "green frog eggs" and not noticing that several were prismatic or void color, rather than the color they were described as when collected.
I am running the latest updates and bug fixes, so I do not think this has been addressed yet.
