No Available Cabins Bug?

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug, but my friend and I both tried to host a new farm on the wilderness map, we set 2 starting cabins set to be separate, and it said there were no cabins available each time we tried this. Can anyone let me know if they encountered anything similar or if there's a fix for this? I really want to play the wilderness map and I don't really enjoy playing this game alone.

Are either of you using any mods? I've seen that error pop up when players have a mod mismatch.
