Barn animals stuck outside and not moving in Co-op in 1.6.5
After a while, we've noticed that all the barn animals (cows, pigs, sheep, goats) aren't moving as soon as they come out of the barn. This means they don't get fed and pigs do not look for any truffles. We've noticed this a few times during our play-through so it seems to be repeating. We've not encountered the same issue on the previous 1.6.4 update. The coop animals seems to be fine.

We're both playing on PC, latest 1.6.5 update, playing co-op. Both PC's are on Windows 11.
I also have a short video recorded of this but not sure how to upload to Steam.

We've tried:
Entering the barn to see if the animals would move.
Cutting down the grass
Moving the barn building

Funnily enough, we were able to fix this temporarily by restarting both games.

I've been having this issue too, multiplayer. They walk out and function fine until they eat the grass (both blue and regular) then they lock up and don't do anything all day then teleport into the barn at about 10.20/10.30pm. Restarting the game fixes it and is the only fix we found (tried all methods above + testing both types of grass). Latest update, host on windows 10 other player on 11. This causes pigs to not dig for truffles and livestock in general to stack up on top of each other making it difficult to tend to them. We're on the new farm type.

It's fine for several days in a row but eventually one day they break.

I've also been having this issue in multiplayer new farm layout, playing on PC together. The second they start eating the grass they freeze. Every day so far, one cow and one sheep merge into the same spot and flicker back and forth between both animals the entire day. We also tried moving the animals between barns, keeping the doors closed for a whole day and then letting them out the next day. We hadn't tried closing the game and re-opening it yet but will give that a try.

Still happening as of current version, we can't figure out a trigger for it and we haven't been able to tell if it affects baby animals.
