Island kitchen in 1.6: can't change wallpaper

Even if I move the fireplace out of the way and stand next to the wall... nada.

I'm having the same issue, CA messed up the placing of the wallpapers on walls where the bottom half is wood, in other spots like the hallways in the normal house you can fix this by standing on the side of the wall and applying the wallpaper but in the kitchen of the island house we can't do that :(

Hopefully we get a fix soon just recently got a steam deck and it's very annoying to not be able to decorate like I want
