Plants Grow Instantly...?

I've been doing a multiplayer playthrough and we had this odd bug show up where the plants grow instantly like we had 2 ancient fruits growing that had 19/18 days left then overnight they were fully grown and were ready to pick then today not long after loading up the game we had to go back into a house for something and when we come back out they were ready to pick and won't before we went in plus the third ancient fruit we had just planted was also fully grown and were ready to pick so was some other plants we had planted a few days before.

I tried googling this but all I could find were two posts from 8 years ago and it didn't tell me what was happening and how to fix it.

Sometimes a fairy appears overnight and can grow an area of crops instantly. A small cutscene happens when you go to bed to show this.

Yeah but neither of us got the cutscene and the second time it had it was the middle of the day.

Crop things don't happen in the middle of the day in vanilla, definitely not random, selective growing. Sounds like a mod issue or one of you is sneaking in cheats.
