Mayonaise Machine Broke?

I was playing 1.6 in multiplayer and I can't get the mayo machine to work. All I get is "Eat egg?" I have tried removing mods and trying to use it from other sides but I still cannot get it to work.

I am playing on Windows 10 and the newest version of Stardew Valley.

I'm having the same issue in my game! I've gone through my mods and removed what I thought might be interfering but nothing is working.

I have zero mods and this is happening to me as of today (yesterday was fine) with a handful of my machines -- crystalarium, recycler, dehydrater, etc. Just won't let me add items to any them.

Hey, I'm not sure if this will help you but! I removed Esca's Modding Plugins (EMP) and it seemed to fix where I couldn't use the mayonnaise maker at all.

I found out that even after I removed my mods, Artisan Valley kept snealing back into my folder. Fixed my mayo machines!

Same issue, I don't have either of those mods.

maybe it is one of them, anybody else have these same mods ?

i believe it wont be json assets,content patcher and/or spacecore since they are really popular mods.

might be expanded preconditions utility or fashion sense?

I'm not surprised we have those in common, they're all prereq mods that support a bunch of others.

I'm tempted to think it's from base game though, since if I remember everything was fine until the last bugfix update, but I admittedly have a fever and don't trust my memory atm.

I also remember that from the start, json assets has had a red section in the smapi dialog on startup, some things that weren't worknig. So maybe it's part of that? I don't know enough coding to be sure (but I hope that's either not it or that it's fixed soon, practically everything needs it)

json updated, the red text in smapi is gone, but mayo machine still not working. So much for that lead.

I had the same issue and fixed it. I removed all Artisan Valley related mods and I can now use the mayo mech. I ended up removing like 4 mods so I'm not sure exactly which one did it though.

Looking at your list...I am unfortunately suspicious json assets or expanded preconditions is the culprit. We don't have much in common, and those two are prereqs for so *many* things...would explain why such a wide variety of mod-users are getting hit.
