Bulletin Board Bundle did not increase friendship

It seems that the Bulletin Board Bundle may be broken. I did not receive increased friendship with villagers after completing it as my last bundle for the Community Center.

I've read a couple accounts of the friendship reward being delayed by about a week or until the next time the game was loaded. It's also worth noting that it doesn't affect bachelor(ette)s.

Did you receive the related letter from Lewis?

I just completed it and finished the day. Next morning it had not increased, but I did not check mail. Haven't played the day yet. I will check the next time I play and update here.

I have loaded game and check mail. I didnt check friendship before getting Lewis's letter, but check after. Hearts have increased.
