Quest item registered as gift

I just got a delivery quest from the board to deliver an amethyst to Amy.
I went home and delivered it on the first day.
She registered it as a gift instead of the quest item -> the quest is still open and I didn't get any money for it...

Pls fix this bug, it has happened to me before:
ending in Clint replying to me that copper is an awful gift, wtf ^^
I think, it only happened to me when I delivered the gift on the same day, that I got the quest

ok about Amy: that definitely happened,
about Clint: I found out that I need to mine copper ore first, before I can give it to him

This is not a bug. If you pay attention to the quest info, you need to gather NEW ore, not pull old ore out of your hoarding chest.

When you've gathered x amount new ore, the quest in your journal CHANGES to 'Talk to Clint.'
Then, and only then, is it safe to give Clint ore.

Update: Could not recreate your issue with the amethyst quest from the board.

As there is no character named Amy, I assume you meant Emily or perhaps Abigail? Is it possible you gave the Amethyst to the wrong character?

ups I meant Maru, but probably I read it wrong and should have given it to abigail or emily

right clicking while holding a uest item will sometimes gift it instead of fulfilling the quest, left clicking on the NPC seems to always cause it to be registered as a quest delivery.

I didn't even know that left clicking works/ that it's the desired key in this case ^^
I'll always use left-click from now on
