Possible bug: feast of the winter star

Not sure if this is a bug or just a behavior I did not expect. I went to the feast of the winter star with a stack of sashimi I had been saving up and using as gifts around town and as healing items in the dungeons. I had about 50 something sashimi saved up from aggressive fishing over the entire winter. I decided to give a sashimi as my gift at the feast of the winter start, but when I selected the sashimi, it I apparently should have right clicked instead of left clicked, becaue it gave my secret santa person my ENTIRE STACK of sashimi (apparently gift giving works just like throwing items in the bin). I didn't realize the entire stack was gone until the next morning when it had already saved and my sashimi was all gone.

TLDR: Feast of the winter star gift giving should just take one off the stack of an item. Not the entire stack.

There's lots of places this happens unfortunatly. Like in cutscenes where I went to give Maru a cave carrot and she took ALL of them the second I entered her house. :(
