Game keeps crashing at the busstop map/screen!
Everytime I go to the busstop the game crashes.
I can get around this problem by simply not walking through there when I go to and from my farm. But I'm worried there are some events that takes place at the busstop that I will not be able to do, as the game crashes there every single time. It doesn't always take the same amount of time before it crashes in that place, but a crash is inevitable.

If anyone knows how to help me with this issue, I would be very grateful.

This mainly happens if your resolution is too high.
Are you by chance on 4k?

Try lowering it to 1440p

Ok! I am playing on a 4k monitor so that may be it. The only problem with that is that I have it set on windowed borderless. And you can't change the resolution then. So, do I simply have to play it fullscreen on 1440p?

You can either play on fullscreen and change it to 1440p or change your actual monitor resolution while playing so you can use windowed borderless.

I too have to change my monitor resolution every time I go to play, and change it back when I'm done.

Hopefully CA will find a fix for it soon ish, but this is the workaround in the meantime :(

It's either that or avoid the Bus Stop and Hidden Forest areas.

Oh! That is unfortunate. The game looks so beutiful on my high resolution and it's a very big difference down to just 1440p. Eh, I'll see what I'll do.

You can try something in between, but so far 1440p has been the most stable for me.

This is happening for me as well. The game definitely does not support a 4K resolution screen. It almost could. The stars in the sky do not fill the sky in the startup sequence, and the backgrounds loop in 4K just about 3/4 of the way on the screen.

But otherwise, it would look amazing at this resolution. I get constant crashing of the game on this screen, it's ruined it for me. I'm going to try the resolution changes before starting the game and see how that goes.

Am having the same problem running 4k crashing all the time at the bus stop section of the map, bloody great game :tlove: but why include 4k option if it's going to crash all the time and it is soooo much better than 1440p which still crashes quite often for me at the bus stop section anyway. :nuke:

I can't garantuee this will work for everyone. But I currently play the game at 1440p. And I think that works for now. To clarify, I start the game, set it to fullscreen and 1440p, change it to windowed fullscreen(which makes it go 4k because thats my desktop resolution) and then I change it to windowed, which makes it look ok. Will post screenshots later.

Yeah I have tested lowering to HD instead of 4k and it does work to fix the crashing and the texture issues.

I am still crashing at bus station even with resolution at 1440p, whether it is fullscreen or windowed.
