i got to the bottom of the mine, got the skull key, then went into the adventurers guild.
i talked to gil, and he showed me a box with an insect head sword.
i closed the "box" by accident,. but then could not open it again - and had not received the item.

i can buy it for 10.000 gold now,. but no longer get the free version.

Not a bug. Pay attention to what you are doing.

But if you got to the bottom of the mine you have a better weapon than the insect head anyway, so don't even worry about it.

Yeah, just figured out it was for the monster slaying awards.
Got a bone sword already, but since it probably sells for a pretty penny it'd have been a nice bonus to sell back to the vendor ^^
