Engagement during Moonlight Jellies Event causes Crash

Summer 28, Year 2. I proposed to Sebastian the day before the Moonlight Jellies event. Later that night when I went to the beach, talking to Lewis to start the cutscene causes the game to crash. Tried twice and it still happened.

After some searching, it seems many people have a similar problem while engaged. My guess is it comes from the newest patch which makes your spouse stand next to you during the cutscene.

Can confirm this happened to me - tried it 3 times last night after giving the pendant to Abby and it crashed all three times. Tonight I spent the day rearranging my garden instead, and it worked just fine.
