orange tree not growing

I planted my orange and peach trees at the beginning of spring, knowing it takes 28 days for full growth i wanted them producing in summer. My peach tree is fully grown and producing, but my orange is not fully grown, only like 3/4 of the way there. I don't have anything in the 8 spaces around it. That's really strange - are there two spaces between the orange tree and the one next to it? I can't tell, it may be affecting the growth. IIRC the fruit trees aren't random like wild trees... So there's no reason why it shouldn't be working. Maybe lightning stunted the growth somehow?

it's growing oranges now, but it took much longer than 29 days. I planted the top 4 trees first of spring and made sure there was nothing in the surrounding area around each tree. and yes, 2 spaces between each tree. that's the confusing part since the peach one to the right of the orange obviously grew in full in 28 days but orange was stunted. And there were no storms up to the point I took that screenshot.
