upgraded barns do not auto refill hay
I've been manually refilling the hay every day even though there is no rain. I'm not sure what's wrong

It's the fully upgraded barn, right? And you have a silo with hay in it?

yes i even bought hay from marnie so it's full. I currently have 3 silos. Some days the farm animals are normal and happy.. other days it says they are sad.

Take a screenshot and post it here of the empty hay slots, so I can be sure you're doing everything right.

If you're leaving the barn/coop doors open at night, they randomly become sad. I haven't the slightest idea why the autofeeder isn't working, though. It may be a bug. Did it ever work, or has it not worked at all since you upgraded it? It looks like everything is working... maybe try removing all the processing machines?

The auto feeder only works for full barns for me. Having a barn partially full when waiting for animals to breed results in the barn thinking they remaining 4 hay equals a full trough. This causes some of my animals to go hungry if I dont check the feeder every day.

no i have a full barn and i closed the barn doors at night. the next day i come back with it empty with only one hay left even though they had been outside the day before. and since it only has one hay left, the animals are sad as if i hadn't fed them the day before
