Heater for Chickens Disappeared?

"Last night" in game was the fall festival where you have to put your best crops on display. At this point, I had already purchased a heater for the chickens in my coop in preparation for winter. When I was in the coop just before going to sleep, double checking that there would be food in the morning, I could see the heater was still in the middle of the coop. However, when I went to collect eggs in the morning, it was no longer there.

Anyone ever have this issue before? It isn't in any of my chests either. Is there a way to recover it?
