Static noise bug.
Static noises overlapping simple things such as sound-track, fishing, item placing in bundles and around my farm. I tried uninstalling and re-installing already. It has been happening for awhile at random times and causes lag spikes

A lot of people have been experiencing various issues since the game was updated to 64-bit, including audio issues like this, so I would guess that's probably the source of your issue. That said, it wouldn't hurt to check that your audio drivers are up to date.

Otherwise, I would switch to the compatibility version of the game and see if the issue persists. That's generally the only way to fix issues caused by the 64-bit version.

I have very similar issue as you with the Standard version.

What silentprotagonistsays 'says' (that sounds weird when read out loud xD) is correct

this is a fairly known issue and for most people with issues with the Standard version the Compatibility version works without any problems so give it a try.

Both versions of the game are exactly the same content and version wise except Standard version runs of MonoGame and Compatibility runs of XNA

Sadly not everyone has the option to run the Compatibility version of the game, as the latests versions of SMAPI (The stardew modding API) are not compatible with the compatibility version, so people would be getting locked out of their mods.

I've been trying to find a solution to the issue that doesn't involve swapping to the compatibility version as I would like to keep my mods, sadly I haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks for a way to stop it. It hasn't happened for awhile thank god but if it comes up again I'll change to the compatible version.
