Magic Bait - Dorado might be broken

I have no way of knowing, but I'm pretty sure you can't catch a Dorado using magic bait. I had four fish I still needed to catch, the Dorado and three of the legendary fish. I caught all three legendary fish in one day, I've fished four full days now with magic bait and have yet to see a single Dorado. I'm in the correct spot (forest river) and I've tried many spots, and two full days staying in only one spot. None of it matters, haven't seen one.

Like I said, I have no way of knowing if it's bugged but logic tells me having the Dorado be more rare than three legendary fish in one day makes no sense. It has to be bugged.

Have you tried using other bait or no bait at all?

It took me about a full week before I found a Dorado, they're a little tricky to get. I only managed it by taking luck enhancers on a lucky day. It's funny because on other save files, I was able to get it without all that, but this particular save file just did not want to spawn one.

I was fishing for it out of season so I was forced to use the magic bait. I never did get it to bite, I ended up using a mod that allows you to catch fish out of season and after 10-15 casts I got one.....further making me think the magic bait is bugged.
