Panning spots spawn in unreachable locations

Panning spots spawn in unreachable locations. Middle of river or far side of river south of town. I get as close as I can and try to pan, but I am unable to. This saddens me as panning spots are rare enough as it is.

This has been known and reported for a long time, so it doesn't seem likely to be changed. It happens with artifact spots and forageables as well. Seems the game just doesn't check whether a space is unreachable when generating these things. I assume the dev doesn't see it as an issue because they're randomized and temporary anyway.

Yeah, it's just unfortunate as I get to pan little enough as it is

You could use a noclip mod to reach them.
