Probable Bug: The Pirate's Wife quest

I did the quest "The Pirate's Wife" and made fast progress to the handover of the wobbly worm. But I can't give it to Willy. I've tried several times (including putting worms in different inventory spaces), and the dialog window appears every time. However, I don't get anything from him and the worm stays in my inventory.
I also tried it with "older" memory versions there the same problem occurs
so would be grateful for any help :3

same here, i get the dialogue for the worm beeing the bait he was looking for but the items dont get exchanged

Phew, I'm glad I'm not the only one, I as afraid to have ruined it by talkng to him when he tried to get home, but like this, I guess we can hope for a fix soon. :-(

Yes, I can understand you well, I also worried that I was often alone or had to take an old save had the Strange Capsule event on the same day: O

I did this one yesterday and it went fine. Year 6 (though that's likely irrelevant), Willy was fishing near his shop/home.

Okay, if, by any chance, you'Re playing, like me, in a non-English language, try setting the game to English.

Fixed it for me, changing it from German to English, and I could change it back afterwards.

Glad that I'm not the only one with this issue. I've had the same problem and I have tried giving it to him at different times/days, when hes fishing or in his shop etc and it still wont work.
