Crash down

It crashed every time I try to run it. It works well about download and installation. Only when I click "run" the game, and it goes to a full screen with white (I can see your icon, the chicken, on the bottom)and it closed by itself after 5 sec.

I am really interested in it, I want to know if it is caused by without buying on steam.
Would it be fixed if I bought it? or it is caused by my PC or the game itself ?

PS: My friend invite me to play "stardew valley" together. Since we are family members in steam, I could play when he is not playing. So I want to try it before I buy it.

I don't know why, but after a lot work follow the guide it still not work.

finally, I only changed the name of the game, from "stardew valley" to "stardew valleyEN",then it can run now.

Wish it will be useful for those guys whose windows system is not English vision.

Nevermind, I found a official suggestion and trying to follow it to fix the problem

The top discuss seems helpless for me , after I worked for half hour, I see the last line" unfortunately", and the game still cannot play.

Do you get an error log?

thx a lot, but that was what i mentioned at top, the first reply. I have worked with it expect "DirectX 9.0",because it is for win8 only , and I have "DirectX 12" already.
