[COOP BUG] Repeating wedding event

Help! I was playing CO-OP with a save file, hosted and let one of my friends join my farm.
I am already married to Sebastian in my 3rd year.
I proposed to my co-op friend just for fun and they accepted, I didn't expect it to work.

The next day, Spring 27,I am stuck in a 'waiting for other player' scene after a wedding scene WITH Sebastian, and my friend has his day going on as usual, with infinite energy and time stuck.

I did reset the server and the game proceeded as normal, with the day marker replaced with the wedding heart marker.
Sebastian is talking as if we're not married yet, but is in my bed, and his portion of the house still exists. My friend rejoined and has the ring in his inventory.
After I reset, we moved on to Spring 28, but the wedding scene REPEATED. my friend could see the scene this time, however.

The next day (summer 1) it repeated again. My friend quit this time, though, so I'll have to test it when he's playing with me again.

do I have to divorce him so it wont repeat?

well i would suggest to try and divorce him if u havent already mate. if that is causing the issue them its better to try divorcing and make a post but next time before u make a post make sure u actually tried the obviouse like divorcing

Wow, that's rude. I came here to see if anyone had the same issue before and has other solutions to suggest. But yes, divorce worked, although the day after divorce seemed to be a wedding day by the event marker, i skipped to summer 3 without any repeating wedding scene. fingers crossed it wont repeat when my friend actually comes online.
