Going to bed won't trigger sleep
I was playing today and at some point my game started messing up. When I try to go to sleep, it'll turn off the lights and I'll have the "zzz" bubble above my head, but the screen won't change to my shipping screen and won't progress to the next day unless I walk out the door. Then, the next day, I wake up at my front door. It caused one of the cutscenes to not trigger and I had to close the game from the task manager menu.

I'm playing on PC and I have SMAPI, content patcher, and a few mods, but I've had the mods for over a year and I'm only running into the sleeping issue as of today. I removed a mod I thought was causing the issue and re-opened the game, but I still can't sleep.

I haven't tried removing all my mods and re-adding them yet, but I'm willing to try if that's the solution.

I have encountered this as well, I believed it to be a problem with mods, but what mod I could not figure out,

I removed the mod I thought had caused the issue, but it was still doing it. I'm going to try again today and see if it's still an issue. If it is, I'm going to move my mods folder and see if that works. I don't want to re-download the game files because I have a few XNB mods I'm still using since they don't have content patcher equivalents.

I have the same issue, but I removed all of my mods and all of my replaced XNB files and the bug is still there

The bug has to do with 1 specific mod, the bathroom mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/299

In the stardew Forums howerever I think they found a solution to fix it I will link the post below. For now just try to exit the bed and go outside it will trigger the save screen that you get at the end of the day.

https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/migrating-xnb-mods-to-content-patcher-packs.141577/page-20#post-3283861 ( just scroll a bit you will find the file on the first page)

Hmm I'm not really sure but maybe that's in the forum too, so far the only problem has been with that particular mod, sorry :(.

I don't have the bathroom, however I have this: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/369?tab=description
I am using the 'No Beds or Crib Version 1.11'
I am wondering if it might be related to just changing the house in general?

I just finished a house upgrade and the issue started.

Yeah anything that changes the house creates that bug, but i dunno much about it, sorry.
