Game Crushes for only saved farm: weird hair and pants missing from my character
The title screen loads just fine but when I want to load my saved game it crashes and forces me to end the program. It was working just fine three days ago but now it is a problem. I can start and load new games but not the game that I have put so much time and effort.

The WEIRD thing is when I go to my list of load games, the picture of my farmer on the game that crashes has it's hair and pants missing from the icon so my farmer looks as if it is bald and has a blank space where the pants would be.

I have already tried most the troubleshooting and fixes that have been recommended on forums and reddit but nothing has worked so far including: the fullscreen vs window screen, removing .old from saves, uninstalling and reinstalling, removing savegameinfo file from one saved game to another...

Some insight would be greatly apprecitated!

THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME AHHHH Its driving me insane because I've tried everything and I don't know how to fix it.
And not only that, but it also doesn't show me what year/season/day I am at and it says that I have no hours progress and 500 gold when in fact I had like 50+ hours progress and over 50000 gold.

I wish I could help you ahah but at least you're not alone with the problem and I wanna know how to fix this as well.

if u where in beta when this happend make sure steam dident opt u out as it tends to do that if it did opt u out just re enter the beta key code

I'm having this same problem!!! I entered back into Beta with code Jumpingjunimos and it didn't work, what's wrong with it??

IT WORKS. Thank you so much, I can't believe that I didn't notice that I wasn't in beta.

Hmm I have the same problem as kenvanbeek but my game is still in beta so that doesn't work for me :c
