Report a translation problem
The data file for the price could've been damaged.
Also, I know the savefiles have a section for price; if that section were corrupted. The sell screen would pop up, but you wouldn't receive any money for shipping them.
First try verifying the game cache by going to Stardew Valley on your Steam Library. Right click to 'Properties', then go over to 'Local Files'. And, finally to 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'
Let it validate everything then give it a try. Test it out on new Mayo that you make.

I wasn't playing with any mods.
Or was it part of the same batch as before.
Each item stack gets written to the savefile. So, it's possible the first batch was set to '0' for price, while the new one is back to being correctly set.
It's all new, the ones that I haven't received payment were of the same batch, that must be it then
