Can't move and open inventory with E

I bought Stardew Valley a few days ago . I really like the game but the problem is every time I start the game, sometimes I can move, and sometimes I can't at all. I can scroll and use my tools, but that's useless since I can't even get out of my bed. There's more- I said that it doesn't work right? so yesterday I found the issue and was looking it up on the internet and after time passed, the game that didn't work when I even turned my computer and game off, WORKED. My game keeps having problems and I can't control at all. When it doesn't work my W, A, S, D and E buttons don't work and everything does.I've checked all my controls and there's nothing wrong with my computer, (I'm playing on a Mac) I really like this game but can't play :( Please help

First off make sure there's no other inputs involved; like unplug any controllers. Just to make sure controls aren't clashing.

Next, are you by any chance using any kind of virtual keyboard software, or something that remaps keys that could also cause issues?

The controls are stored in the savefile, but they can always be remapped in-game or through save editing.

No, I checked all my controls, there's no inputs, and I tried changing the controls but they were too uncomfortable for me. Besides, I would change the controls if nothing worked, but as I said above sometimes it works.(Most of the time it doesn't) I think the game doesn't want me to play :(
