Stardew Valley

Target tile offset
In Fall Year 1, I am occasionally experiencing an issue where the tile I am targeting is offset from where it should be. So, for example, if I take the Copper Watering Can, and hold it down, it shows me 3 tiles that should get watered. The tiles are displaced, usually by one, in a way I can't narrow down. The only consistent thing I've noticed is it never seems to get displaced towards the left. So, for example:

123
456
789

If you're standing on 6 and targeting 5, or 5 and targeting 8, it will never target 4, but it may target 9.

I haven't noticed anything particularly consistent I've done that could cause this issue, but it didn't begin until Fall, so maybe something is related, there.

This issue occured on Windows 10 64-bit. I haven't tried on any other platform.

I recorded my last playsession and managed to recreate the bug on camera. I'm compressing and uploading to YouTube now. I'll post it in a couple hours with a timestamp, since I have class right now.

The timestamp here is where the bug occurs. I play with it a little bit in case that helps determine what was happening. One thing I noticed is in some cases it's pretty close to where the cursor was (last moved when I opened the chest after waking up), but it's not consistently in that spot.

Enable the square that shows you where you are going to interact, and see if it lines up with the offset.

You can see when I charge up the watering can that it doesn't. Unless the watering can and the square setting can become desynchronized, also.

True, true. Well uh... I have no idea how you'd go about fixing it, unfortunately.
I suspect something happens during the sleep cycle to cause it. It's always occured shortly after sleeping. So, if the code for sleeping runs something which sets the tile's position relative to the player, or something, that's probably what I'd check.

If I encounter the bug again, I will enable the square setting and play with it a little bit. If there's any other information I can offer, please don't hesitate to ask.
I experienced the bug again, today. This time, I experienced it immediately after loading my game, without sleeping. In testing, I found that although the watering can was displaced, the axe was not. I also found that entering and exiting the house stopped the bug, so that'll be my temporary solution. This seems to indicate that something is happening while loading the farm, and only regarding the watering can.
