Not loading save file

EDIT: If anyone is having this same problem I just fixed it. Go to Users,(Your Name),Appdata,Roaming,Saves. Then delete the one that says your players name then numbers (for example mine is April_149007563). Copy the one that says "_old" (for example April_149007563_old) then rename it so it wont be "old" anymore. Reopen your game now it will work again

I was playing the game a few minutes ago then suddenly i exited it out to download a portrait mod then it stopped working. I uninstalled the mod and its still doing that i uninstalled the game and it is still doing it. The problem im having is everytime i open my save file it keeps going back to the title screen but when I use one of my other save files its perfectly fine

Could you upload the affected save folder to tinyupload, or dropbox or somewhere I can download it from?
I'll take a closer look; there's a few issues in v1.2 players seem to be running into lately.

Save file locations:
Windows: %AppData%\StardewValley\Saves\
OSX: /Users/yourusername/.config/StardewValley/Saves
Linux: ~/.config/StardewValley/Saves/

you may wanna do what i did and just copy the "old" save file rename and delete the "old" out of the name

No you have to copy the one that says your name (ex Jake_123456789_old) then delete the regular one and once you copied the one that has the old on it rename it to (Jake_123456789) you have to delete the "old" at the end when you copied it

you might have to uninstall the game reinstall it then do the same steps again

If someone did it and it didn't work, you need to wait a few days, I did it the same and i had to wait 3 days

what it worked 3 days for you? thats odd it worked like 1 minute after i did this (cause i had to start it up)
