Meteorite Event
I was previously told here that paths and other structures are not completely destroyed by lightning strikes, and that items are dropped onto the ground, but in the case of a meteorite event, will paths and other structures be completely destroyed?

I would guess the game is not stupid enough to spawn a meteorite on structures?

AFAIK, The meteorite only lands in open space. The event will actually fail to place the meteorite if there's not enough room.

Almost in year 3, meteor hasn't appeared because i probabaly have a lot of grass.

Grass is open space for the meteor.

Thank you for your answers.
Am I correct in thinking that while they don't fall on structures, paths like "Wood Path" and "Cobblestone Path" are completely destroyed by meteorites (they disappear, not detach and drop like lightning strikes)?

Some useful info from the wiki:
"There's a 1% chance of the meteorite event being chosen. The event chooses a random 3x3 area on the Farm and checks if there's a 2x2 area within that contains no water, placed objects that block movement, buildings, resource clumps, or farm animals. If no such 2x2 area is found, the event does nothing.

Meteorites don't despawn naturally and require a Gold Pickaxe or better to mine. (A Gold Pickaxe requires 7 hits, and an Iridium Pickaxe requires 6 hits.) They drop 6 Iridium Ore, 6 Stone, and 2 Geodes, and have a 25% chance to drop a Prismatic Shard."

They do destroy paths yes. I just had one happen the other day and it broke some of my paths. It's not a big "item" though so it's only like 4 path pieces that get destroyed.
