I was very surprised to get one of these:

At first I thought it was from one of my mods, but oh noes... This is part of the 1.6 update. More horror added to the game, in other words. Love it! I can only imagine for what purpose they were created to begin with. But I have yet to place one in my home...

Does anyone know what they do? Obviously I don't expect them to go full Chucky on the farmer. But... You can bet your butts that Marnie would put them to good use!

If I had to wager a guess based on their description, they have a chance to move around of their own volition. I.E. you go to sleep and the Cursed Mannequin moves to another room in the house.

They move on their own and if the catch you in your sleep, they'll take your clothes.

Here's the question, though. If they're already wearing clothes when they steal your clothes, do you suddenly find yourself wearing THEIR clothes? Or are they just thrown onto the ground?

That is the question for the ages.

I will have to conduct an experiment to find out. I'm just gonna back up my save first,
in case they end up obliterating the entire household.

As we can see, no clothes were ripped off or stolen! But the one wearing the
mummy mask did move closer to the bed during the night...

Maybe they don't exactly take your clothes when you're sleeping in bed BUT do take your clothes if you, say, collapse at 2AM in front of them?

What the effinus fakkus, I can't undress them now, which means I can't remove them >.<

Everytime I interact with them they just swap my clothes ò.ó

They take mine and I receive theirs! Good lord...

Okay, experiment is over. I was able to remove them by first taking my farmers clothes off, then absorb what the mannequins was wearing and then remove them. With the axe.

I will not collapse in front of them. These guys has given me enough trouble for one day.

They are now stuffed in a chest, somewhere on the farm... Hopefully they'll stay there.......
