HELP!

So basicly, i tried to move my pc save to my mobile by taking the save file from roaming and moving it to the data section in the stardew valley mobile save folder, but when i log in the game, nothing shows! like, i checked it and the file IS THERE, its in the saves files, its just not showing it in the mobile game, can anyone help?

From a technical stand point they are not the same game. So you can't do that. They are designed with different hardware and OS in mind. And at the moment are not even on the same version(but that wouldn't make it work if it was).

You have to have a separate game on mobile.

Yeah, of course it doesn't work. You're trying to use a save file from a windows game on an android/ios game. Why WOULD that work? That'd be like removing the transmission from a Honda car, and trying to install it on a Honda bike.

It may sound crazy but I remember that months ago I would do this and it would work perfectly, did an update got released on PC and didn't get released on mobile?

you're not crazy, you just forgot that mobile and pc has difference version now. pc 1.6, mobile still 1.5. Just wait till mobile get 1.6 update, dunno when though

Wait, so the saves ARE actually cross compatible? And it's literally just drag and drop? Colour me surprised! Kudos to Concerned Ape for making it possible then, it's not something that works on it's own, some actual effort made into making that possible.

I stand corrected. Must be game versions then as you're saying.

Yeah dude! I used to just drag and drop my PC save to my mobile so I could play while I was not home and was kinda bored, apparently you can't anymore since mobile hasn't been updated yet, but hopefully it does soon

That's the first game I've seen that can do that, literally the first one. In my case it would be useless anyway since I mod my game too much, but for people who play vanilla it must be great. It's like almost having a Steam Deck, kind of, a little bit

yeah it is, you can enjoy your save and your little farm anywhere you want haha
