How do I launch the old version of the game?
My boyfriend and I want to continue our world we had with our mods but I can't figure out how to launch 1.5 stardew. Any help!

If you go to the Steam library, and right click Stardew Valley in the left hand catalog, there'll be an option for properties. Go to the Beta section and there may be an option to revert your game state. Not every game offers this, and they offer the old game states to a varying degree, so be prepared to not be able to continue it.
There may be another method that I am unfamiliar with though if this one doesn't work.

if you havent updated your game yet, just use the .exe in local files instead of the steam client.

if you have updated, it's a bit more complicated, google a guide on how to play previous versions/rollback.

A lot of games that are singleplayer or have big modding scenes have old game states available. It's a great feature that Steam has.

Perhaps CA should consider releasing an "Undeluxe Edition" version of the game that downgrades it to an earlier version similar to what the Terraria devs did for April Fool's. :terraria:
