Long-time Stardew players, what do you think is the best farm type?
Hey fellow people waiting for 1.6 ,

I'd just like to hear some opinions from people that have played Stardew Valley for a while. What farm type do you think is the best overall? I hear a lot of people say Forest, even though it's the smallest farm.. I'm kinda torn between Standard and Forest

the water one, you get better access to fish which is really good for quick money and theres still good farm space

Forest is really good if you're trying hard to complete the CC because you can get extra forage and hardwood and such! Standard is probably the best overall just because you have the most space to work with

I like Four Corners, a bit of everything and I can create distinctive areas for farming or your animals. Visually, I enjoy the mining map the most.

I loved Standard and Four Corners with Wilderness a close third even though that was the very 1st farm I played in on the PS4 but on PC I did standard starting out.

I've tried all of them but I almost always go back to Standard

Standard, love the space I can use to decorate and still farm a lot

Cool, I think i'm gonna go with standard too. I do really love how the Hill Top farm looks with all the cliffs and the river, but i've heard its super hard to build on

Standard doesn't have that much going on at first but I think I can turn it into something nice

Hill top is fun to build on thanks to the restrictions. You need to be creative.
With 1.6, I will try the new map.

I think my issue with Hill Top is that not only is it a challenge to build on but with the monsters your animals can get unalived if they are outside at night

4 corners is my go to cause i like each area having its own purpose, the wilderness or forest are next on my list with about equal preferance

Hill Top doesn't have monsters default. That's Wilderness Farm

i think hill top has the most potential for aesthetics or if you want to challenge yourself, it can be very fun :)
