Who Has The Best Marriage Story Line

I have no clue who to marry in base game, who has a good story line to uncover otherwise ill go with my friend krobus and be single for eternity ;-;

Personally, I like to marry Alex if I play as a male presenting farmer. Elliot will always have my heart (I'm a writer, so I'm biased though) as well. Shane has an excellent storyline about obtaining his sobriety, but you can do that completely platonicly, which is usually my choice.

I like Sebation, Leah and Harvey stories the best. I usually end up marrying one of them in all my runs.

Haley, she has the most growth imo and truly finds her purpose and place in life. She makes a fantastic spouse that cooks and helps out a lot and feels very real

Alex is a sweety. He's the only one in that age bracket I still go for when I play, cause I enjoy his story so much! Otherwise, that whole age bracket feels like... 16. So I just can't bring myself to pursue them personally. Begging Eric to let me romance Marnie currently *cry*

Penny, 100%. Lots of the bachelors/bachelorettes have dreams and goals which would take them out of the valley, while Penny loves the valley and the people and really cares about making a positive impact here. She tells you early on that living on a farm like yours would be a dream of hers, plus there is the end-game content where you can help Pam, which feels especially meaningful when married to Penny. Also, she has one of the best 'spouse schedules' as she will regularly leave the farm and go into town to continue teaching Jas and Vincent. I just love Penny.
