Trinkets
Yesterday I got my first frog egg and it seemed to work even better than the magic quiver I have in my original game. However, I looked it up on Wiki and it specifically said that enemies killed by the frog don't count towards your own kills/points. etc.
However, I didn't see such a warning on the magic quiver page. Does anyone know why? Are the quiver kills counted or not?

I think the "why" is the simplest reason: the quiver won't steal kills. I don't think the wiki would not have the warning otherwise.

I also cannot find any posts anywhere saying the quiver does steal kills, whereas the frog egg doing so is mentioned in several posts.

The frog eggs are great for fish tanks. I love seeing the frogs that hatch. :D

I've only got the Jungle Tank from the raccoon so far and it's full and that's all I have room for until I expand the house a 3rd time. I turned the upper two rooms into a food & beverage crafting space (and removed the crib & beds), so there's no room for another fish tank there, but I'll keep it in mind if I ever get another.

trinket wise i used the parrot egg when I still needed money and the basalisk claw when I started hunting in the dangerous mines (and swapped some of my gear for really high defense)

the frog egg is mildly nice because it can delete unkillable monsters or if you are just running thru, but otherwise yeah it steals kills and isn't something I'd keep.
