Custom Dog or Cat? Mod?
I remember years ago reading an article about a modder who put their dog into the game. How can I do this? I am not good at pixel art and I do not know how to mod. :steamfacepalm:

idk ur best chance is probably to go on stardew mod sites(like nexus mods) and finding a mod like that that looks the most like your dog tbh

I swear though. There was an article on one of the big gaming sites about how a modder memorialized her dog in the game by making him or her. I would like to have my old dog in the game. Another cool thing would be a mod where you can have lots of dogs, cats, or both.

You would need to edit the sprites for the dog in the game files. Either that or the above suggestion of browsing through mods.

Is there a way to find a pixel artist for cheap? I was never good at pixel art and I'm not sure at my age that I have the patience to learn.
