obviously reproduction and germination in stardew valley are not the same as biological functions in reality.
you could go really crazy and allow for beehives to request upgrades like fish ponds to increase capacity and output.
they start at the 1/10, and upgrade over time to 10/10 with more food.
at 10/10 it would be like 3 honey every day. per hive. Hives might need to be larger like a robin farm building.
