Stone owl statue

So I just bought Stardew Valley, and I'm 3 days into summer. A stone owl statue randomly appeared on my farm. Can anyone explain what this is or why it happened?

It is just garden art that randomly shows up on your farm. Everyone gets one. It doesn't do anything nor does it have any significance other than to decorate your farm.

Every now and then when sleeping for the night you'll hear an owl hooting, and then somewhere on your farm a owl statue will appear for you collect.
