Silo Help

Hey everyone had a question, i recently just added a barn before winter and i already had a coop but now since its winter, the hay basket in my chickens coop just disappeared.. i bought another silo to see if that was the problem but still the same thing. Still new to the game any help?

Just uploaded 3 screenshots, 1 showing that there is no trough , i still have hay in my silo and that cows still have the trough. I also dont use any mods

You have ran out of Hay in your Silo, you can cut grass with your Scythe to gather Hay or buy some at Marnie's place (the place where you get animals from).

Growing wheat also provides a chance to drop hay when harvested. Any hay you have in your inventory will need to be placed inside the silo. You can check how much hay is inside your silo by interacting with it without holding anything above your head.

thats what i thought but when i click on both silos it says i still have 240 pieces of hay out of i think now 400 since i got the second silo

To be clear, are you saying the feeding trough is still there, and the hopper is still there, but the hopper is empty even though you do have hay in your silo?

the trough is gone in the coop but not in my cows barn

The trough is gone? Only thing I would think could do that is a mod of some kind.

I don't suppose you could post a screenshot of the inside of your coop so we can see what you're looking at?

yeah im trying to figure how to screenshot, first time posting in a discussion.. would i have to start a new discussion to post a screenshot or could I just add it to this one?

While in-game, hit your screenshot key (default is F12) then from your screenshots and recordings tab, click on the screenshot you took and upload it (adding a caption is optional).

Once uploaded, go to that screenshot on your profile, and copy the entire hyperlink. Then just post that hyperlink into a new reply and you can share it with us right here.

Seems like you've run into a very strange bug as that definitely shouldn't be possible.

Have you tried verifying your local files yet?

Right click the game in your library, click properties, click installed files, then click the button that says verify integrity of local files.

That often fixes weird stuff happening in games that shouldn't be happening.
