Acorn and Maple Tree

Am I the only person, that i can´t differentiate between a maple tree and an acorn tree?

Chop it down and see what seed drops, or plug in a Tapper and see what it produces.

the one with tiny leaves is acorn, slightly bigger is maple

The Maple trees are slightly tilted to the right and have branches that are visible in the leaves while Oak trees are straight and don't have the visible branches.

I plant trees in their own bunches, so maples all together separated from pine, etc. Then I add a sign to tell me which is which

I honestly have given up on telling them apart and just use the wiki or a mod at this point

Oak trees have a straighter trunk with a darker color and a larger crown, maple trees have a more bent trunk with a lighter color and a smaller crown.
Also, in the maple tree's crown, more branches are visible.
