(bugged?) automatic sale from chest near shipping bin

I have placed a recycling machine next to my normal shipping bin (not the mini-shipping bin) and a normal chest next to the recycling machine.
Everything I put in the chest is automatically sold after the chest is closed, one after the other. This is also visible, as the lid of the shipping bin keeps opening and closing until everything has been sold. Even if I put a second chest next to the first one, all in a straight row, everything I put in there (except tools and scarecrows) is also sold from the second chest. But now when I open the shipping bin, the last item I put in is not the one from the chests, but the last one I added manually.

Is this a bug?

Does a mod cause this?

Can anyone reproduce this?

It took me sooo long to find out what the problem was. If this is not a bug, would a warning be possible if you accidentally place it like this?

Sounds like you're using the Automate Mod.

Don't have anything connected to a shippingbin if you don't want auto-selling with automate.

Or disable shippinbin in the automate config
