Does Pierre ever leave his shop in the early game?

I have a quest to give him a fish, which I have, but it's wednesday so he's closed but this is the last day to deliver the fish and complete the quest.

On Fridays at 5pm he goes into the Saloon, spoiler alert At the desert festival he leaves at 6pm, if he is a vendor he leaves at 11:10am. Hope this helps you!

He rarely leaves his shop, so unfortunately you can't do much beside catching him at the Saloon at weekends.

Uh... you can just walk AROUND the counter and talk to him directly (and gift things to him in order to complete quests).

How silly of me. Of course! I could have just walked around the counter to give him his fish on a Wednesday, the one day a week that he's closed and I can't get inside the building at all.

There is a new item that lets you enter any building at any time , it is called 'Key To The Town' at Qi's walnut room. and also if you give Pierre his missing stock list at Qi's Walnut room, he will then open on Wednesdays.

If you complete the Community Center, Pierre opens his shop every day.

Listen, I appreciate most of you for trying to be helpful but it's like none of you actually read the post or if you did, you have no reading comprehension skills.

I was specifically asking about early game so unless you're cheating, there's no way any of these suggestions would be viable. Maybe it's my fault for not being specific and assuming that by "early game" everyone would know that I meant before the end of year 1 at most. To be specific, it was day 3 of Spring, year 1.

Pierre had a board quest asking for a fish come up on day 2 of a new game. I took the quest, then lost track of time and didn't get down to the docks in time to see Willy and get the fishing pole. I went and got the pole the next day, the final day to deliver the fish to Pierre, fished up the fish that Pierre wanted, then realized it was Wednesday so the shop was closed and I couldn't get inside Pierre's store/home to deliver the fish. I did try, just in case Concerned Ape had accounted for that. I could not get in. I just missed out on some money and a red ticket. Not the end of the world, and ultimately I share part of the blame for not getting down to see Willy and get a fishing pole early enough on day 2, but early in the game, the first few days especially, every bit of extra money helps.

No, Pierre does not leave his shop on Wednesdays at the start. He is not accessible on Wednesdays until you complete the Community Center. Several other town folk are similarly not available on some days. There is no workaround.

Don't stress it. There are no deadlines, nothing horrible happens if you take your time and go slow.
