I would have liked Haley a little better if she would be less rude to the player before the 8 star event. Plus, what city girl gets thrown into pig slop and then decides that they love farm life?

Halley got new events, lines and grows quite a lot. It's not strange that ppl would start to like her (not me though, but that's life). Anyway, why someone would roast OP? Everyone is free to have their own likes and dislikes.

That's not what happens.

She's bored out of her mind living in the town and doesn't feel any connection to anyone outside of her sister (and to a much lesser degree, Alex) which is why she tries to fill the void with superficial possessions. Her romance path is you giving her a reason to actually want to be there and discover other activities in town she might enjoy that she had been ignoring.

She's basically the most relatable (non self-destructive) introvert in the game.
