Giving Krobus the void ghost pendant crashes the game? (SDV MODDED)

Hello, I believe this is an issue with SDV modding and not SDV vanilla. I am playing with the Polyamory Sweet mod and I can't get Krobus to move in. I have 10 hearts with him, and am able to give him gifts he likes, but giving him the void ghost pendant freezes the game. I can't move or interact with anything--only music and background animation plays.

Is this an issue with the Polyamory Sweet mod itself? I saw a Steam community post explain that Ace's house mod was doing something similar for them as it modifies the house. If it is an issue with Polyamory Sweet, how can I resolve it? I am already married to several people in-game.

No, it allows Krobus to move in and functions similarly to the mermaid pendant.
