Need help with mods.
I've been playing stardew valley on switch for quite a bit, and i've been watching content creators use mods and stuff to show off, and i wanted to try them out. i figured this agme would have a workshop page, but it does not. any idea on how i can get mods in my game?

the mods are on Nexus, and there is a full directions page on using mods on the wiki,
https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Player_Guide/Getting_Started

read all the instructions there before you try to install the mods, follow step by step. There is even a list of suggestions for first time mod users .

If you still have questions let me know, its a learning process, but if an old lady like me can learn , so can you. Try a few mods at first and add more later.
Some people have complained about having to go to Nexus for the mods, but SMAPI is the mod manager for the game and is required ,and Nexus will keep track of all the mods you use and let you know when you need to update any of them if you follow them.

Sorry man, you can't mod SV on Switch. :steamsad:
Folks have modded their switch versions, but it's limited on what you can change and takes a lot of effort compared to PC. I'm not familiar with the specifics currently, but you'd have to have your switch itself modded so you can get file access, then you were limited to XNB type mods as SMAPI isn't compatible with the switch version.
Oh, uh..i wasnt talking about switch. i was talking about on computer. i was saying i USED to play on switch, and moved to pc to get mods.
