Going back a save day?
Hey guys how do you go back a day cause i messed up a peach tree planting. I have looked it up but what i seem to find doesn't match what I can find at all? Nothing seems to be find with saves or relevant data to fix this. I'm going to brose local files to be clear. Am I doing something wrong?

Go to the save file location:
- Press ALT + R and run the command %appdata%\StardewValley\Saves

Go to your save file folder and you'll find two types of save:
- The first one is your actual save file which is named CHARACTERNAME_NUMBER
- The second one is a backup save file that is set 1 day before your actual save file. This file is named CHARACTERNAME_NUMBER_old

Delete the first save file, then remove the "_old" part in the name of the second file. This will essentially replace your first save file with your second backup save file.

BEFORE YOU DO ALL THIS, make sure you copy and paste the whole save file just for backup in case something goes wrong.

In saying that, I wouldn't even consider doing any of this if that's all you messed up. You can get your peach saplings back from chopping down peach trees with an axe, or you can just buy them again from Pierre.

Ok, Alt + R doesn't seem to be working anyways for some reason but I just realized that since I couldn't get how it would grow until the first of summer and it takes 28 days to grow, I think it just won't produce fruit anyways. thanks for trying to help tho.

Alt+R is just an easier way to get to the save's location. it should be under C:\users\*your username*\appdata\stardewvalley\saves. If you're on linux/steam deck it should be in ~/.config/StardewValley/Saves, don't know what it would be for mac.

pretty sure he meant windows key + r

but you can type folder locations like that into your windows start menu and it'll work just fine too.
You don't need to cheat, last time I checked, you can just dig up or chop down fruit trees to get the sapling back.

I planted a tree in the wrong place in my greenhouse so I went back and replanted it.
