2025 Farm Design Competition

Hello and welcome! So it's been ages since we had a friendly competition on
these forums and well, I felt it was time to change that! Before we begin I want
to make it clear that this competition is created, hosted and funded by myself.

My main purpose with this is to provide more fun and excitement to this wonderful
community which I happen to love! Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of
where you live, if you are new to the game or a seasoned player!

The theme here is Farm Design, meaning you are supposed to show your fully
developed farm and perhaps also (optionally) share a little story about it.
Just know there is no need to rush, there will be plenty of time to participate!

Rules & Information!

You can only enter with ONE farm!
Changing your entry is allowed up until the deadline!

The farm does not have to be brand new, but it must be complete - meaning it
has to be fully utilized in terms of space and also contain a visible Golden Clock.

Obelisks and True Perfection are not required. This is to ensure that those
who are using mods will be able to participate even if using a very small map.
Keep in mind though, that the Golden Clock is still mandatory! And if you do use
mods, and more specifically texture mods; please specify which mod affects the
texture of the Golden Clock so that it can be identified!

Mods are allowed, like mentioned, but only as long as it is appropriate.
This game has an audience of varying ages so keep it clean & safe!

A randomizer will not be used in this competition, instead each and every
submission will be looked at carefully by myself and two additional judges of
my own choosing and who are also very familiar with Stardew Valley.

Creativity as well as Efficiency will especially be taken into consideration!

This is a competition, and in a way also a challenge. But it's meant to be friendly,
so please remember to have fun and support each other!

Prizes!

I mean, even a friendly competition can use some fabulous prizes, right?!
1st place: Digital gift card worth 25€ ≈ $25 USD
2nd place: Digital gift card worth 10€ ≈ $10 USD
3rd place: Digital gift card worth 5€ ≈ $5 USD

*If you live outside of Europe, the currency should automatically be converted.

Submission Guidance!

The best way to submit your farm is by taking a shot through the options
menu in game which will show your entire farm! You can then upload this screenshot
as an artwork to your profile and post it in this thread by copy pasting the link.

When you take a screenshot in game through the options menu, you can usually
find those screenshots in the following location (depending on your OS):
*Windows: %appdata%\StardewValley\Screenshots
*Mac: ~/.local/share/StardewValley/Screenshots
*Linux: ~/.local/share/StardewValley/Screenshots

Deadline and Winner announcement!

Submissions will be accepted up until the end of March 21st CET - submissions
beyond this date will not be judged! Winners will be announced on March 25th!

In order for the Winners to receive their prize, they have to be on my friend list
for at least three days before a digital gift card can be sent. This is according to Steam
so the winners will therefore also receive a friend invite from me at the 25th of March.

Hey, may I at least know the specific time of the end of March 21st according to time zone? I'm afraid difference may cause overlaps of submission on the 22nd.
