Well I have now tried Downtown Zuzu and Stoffton along with Fostoria and they seem to be working ok, still unsure about Mineral Town as the mod page on Nexus says it was last updated in Feb 2023.
So I'll ask again to see if anyone with a few more brain cells than Ion can answer with some actual insights.
That one is well kept up-to-date and has cross-overs from the other expansion mods.
Another one I use is Cape Stardew, rather small but nice mod.
And Lunna of course from Rafeazz who also made Ridgeside.
Passerby Cementary is also nice but still in active development so if you install that expect alot of updates, like at least every week while Yellow Clown is finetuning everything. It is well made tough.
Those are the ones in my modlist and play well together.
I tried Walk to the Dessert but that one gave me alot of errors.
Zuzu Town became very laggy after awhile but that might have been adressed, I haven't played it for a long time.
And an expansionmod alot of players are (im)patiently waiting for is Sunberry Village.
Stil in development but should be relativly close to release now.
I've now started trying out Downtown Zuzu and it seems stable, I think it got updated recently, also installed Walk To The Desert (so I don't have to pay for using the bus LOL) and so far it's a little buggy but playable, the layout is a little confusing but after a fw plays I'll get used to it.
As a result I have not played for a long time but found other games.
Its really a great game but the constant need to update mods become very annoying and tiring, When you spend an entire day installing updates, and then have to do it again a month later.,,,,,, I have played on multiple farms, with multiple expansion and done some awesome challenge runs that were a lot of fun, like when I married ever bachelor/bachelorette in one year and ended up with 21 spouses and 23 kids all living in one house.
I am debating starting over but I would most likely have to delete my entire mod file first and start from scratch again.
Your game will fine if you don't remove mod that will corrupt the file (SVE or any specified mods that is unable to remove) or remove optional expansion (RSV or any similar mods which work in same way).
It will give you all events available that day and the conditions for it to trigger.
Also keep in mind that special events like Green Rain prevent other events to trigger but I gess you found that out yourself now.
