I only catch common fishes

It's my third day of only fishign and I haven't caught any fishes with a rarity. I don't see anything on Internet to solve this problem. I even have no longer the purple star when I catch a fish perfectly. Have someone any idea o what could cause that ?

you are probably using the training rod, all fishes caught with it have no rarity in exchange for the large fishing bar size

I don't know, I have mods but I didn't download a new one before the appearance of this "bug".

I don't know why but, apparently, I can get fishes with rarities but only in the secret woods.

Fish quality varies based on how far from land you're casting. So ... longer casts are going to yield higher qualities of fish.

RARE fish are only available at specific times/locations/weather.
You wont catch them all the time.
Your daily luck level also effects rare fish.
That's why they are RARE, not common.

It appears that OP meant "quality" rather than "rarity". Btw, luck only affects treasure when fishing. It has no effect whatsoever on rarity/quality of fish, bite rate, etc.

This seems to be a pretty rare bug, but it has been reported a number of times over the years. As far as I can tell, the cause isn't really known, and it tends to just resolve itself as it did in this case.
