Island Ingredients special order - can I ship last night?

Maybe I shouldn't have, but I accepted this quest to ship 100 pineapples like the week after I unlocked the Ginger Island farmstead, so then I spent the next week grinding for seeds and planting mixed seeds, etc. And I'm doing the math right now, and I will pick my 100th pineapple on the final day of the quest... so when I place them in the shipping bin on the final day, will I wake up the next morning having succeeded or failed the "Ship 100" requirement? Does anyone know?

Oh, I found a note on the wiki that seems to address it specifically, and it sounds like I'm in luck!


When doing a special order that requires shipping items, the player can ship the remaining items on the final day. The progress bar only tracks items shipped on previous days and this can create the impression that items shipped need to be shipped before the last day, but they do not.
